“Oh, they’re so cute!”
When I visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, this was the phrase most often heard when you were near the sea otter display. It’s true, the otters are cute, but they are also huge. At 5 to 6 feet long and armed with formidable teeth and claws, they are well adapted to the coast line that they live on.
I was amazed at the number of exhibits the aquarium had, featuring the many forms of aquatic life on the California coast. We were enthralled by the Jellies exhibit and the many tanks that display the underwater environments present in Monterey Bay.
